Property description
This property is very unique and would suit a varied range of potential purchasers from first and second time buyers to investors and down sizers alike. It could not be in a more perfect position as it is set at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac so you can look forward to enjoying some peace and quiet.
Originally this one bedroom mews style property with an integral garage has now been skilfully rearranged by the current owner during the time he has owned it to suit his needs and although there are no building regulations the vendor is arranging an indemnity insurance to alleviate any concerns.
There is off road parking right outside the front door which makes it easier for the weekly shop. From the entrance hall there are stairs rising to the first floor with a further door leading into the 20ft dual aspect ancillary room which the owner uses as a lounge. There is also a shower room with doors opening out to the rear garden.
On the first floor there is a kitchen area which is adjacent to the dining area so it will be ideal for chatting to your guests while you whip up some culinary delights as they sit in anticipation at the table. There are also two double bedrooms and a bathroom on this floor.
There rear garden is laid to patio and fence enclosed offering a good degree of privacy and it will be ideal for those summer gatherings.
What the Owner says:
I bought the property in April 1995 and it was the only property I looked at. Having grown up in the area and working in our family’s village newsagent/post office, I was very familiar with the types of homes around Southwater. I had already decided that this particular property would be an ideal home for me.
What I like about the property is that it has an unusual layout and benefits from a generously sized main bedroom and a good open plan living area. I commenced the conversion of the garage into further living space in 1999. The potential to convert the garage was one of the main attractions for me when I first purchased the house.
