Property description
This is a stunning period home with fantastic living
space, character and charm which is located in a
wonderful position in East Cowes. This extensive home is set over three floors and also has a games room which could work well in its current format
(as an annex) or, with some modification, could be a separate space for an elderly relative.
The lovely façade, the period feel of the property and the quiet location is appealing enough, but this is just the starting point. The grand entrance hallway, with separate lounge and dining areas is superb and the extensive kitchen and breakfast areas and magnificent bedroom space make this a fabulous family home.
The rear garden offers privacy and is a great area for the family to enjoy. There is also ample parking as well as a double-garage and the benefit of a storeroom in the rear garden.
The home creates a lovely lifestyle purchase with easy access, within a few minutes, to the town, ferry terminal and floating bridge to Cowes. Contrast this benefit with the quiet location down a very desirable road of other period and charming homes and it is clear that you truly need to visit to appreciate everything this home has to offer. The property is also offered chain-free.
What the Owner says:
This has been our much-loved family home for over twenty-five years. It is in a very peaceful area and there are lots of birds and red squirrels which visit the garden.
We have enjoyed the convenience of travelling to
Southampton and the closeness of the river, with the
marina and public houses to visit.
East Cowes has good schools, a new health centre and Waitrose, which is all very convenient.
A new investment has taken place and more is planned.
