We were living in Bexley in Kent and needed to be closer to the grandchildren in Southwater. Since we were already familiar with the village it was just a case of finding the right house and this one was a complete reversal of our previous home which was much older and darker.
What we really liked about this one was the cul de sac and how close it is to the country park which is ideal for the grandchildren. The property is so light and airy and the garden has been ideal for entertaining as it is very private. We have really enjoyed upgrading the property and won't be moving too far away, but we have decided to downsize to something smaller.
