Property description
A simply wonderful setting for a detached bungalow of this quality with the "Spinney" behind offering an established natural wooded area, full of wildlife and pleasing on the eye.
Close by we can also find the coast line which can be accessed via a footpath to the end of Manor Road. This bungalow has been owned by the same family for over 35 years, and it is easy to see why moving away from this fabulous home was never a consideration.
It has been extended over the years to create a large property with plenty of living space, the kitchen / diner is very much the hub of the home. From here a conservatory extension allows the sun to pour through and what a wonderful seating area to look out across the garden.
Maintenance and modernisation has always been a priority for our current owner who has ensured complete peace of mind for any buyer by renewing recently the flat roof, soffits and fascias and the boiler.
From the outside, the space on offer within is not that apparent and will be a pleasant surprise for any viewing applicant. Beltinge village is only a short walk away with its array of shops and local conveniences and regular bus service.
This is a bungalow of some stature and has enough space to easily entertain the while family and a quality finish allowing any buyer to simply move straight in.
What the Owner says:
The bungalow has been in my family for over 50 years. Having inherited it from my mother, we moved into it in 1980 when my husband took early retirement. We had the property extended and modernised, and ever since I have maintained it to the highest standards. I have many lovely neighbours, and there is a real community feeling in this little area known as Bishopstone. We are right on the edge of the Reculver Country Park run by the Kent Wildlife Trust which opens u walks with stunning views.
Just across the road is the path that runs through Bishopstone Glen for 200 yards to steps that give direct access to the beach. I really don't want to move, but the time has come to down size and move closer to my family.
