Property description

This is a spacious two bedroom apartment for the 'over 60s', set in a quiet and convenient location close to Ringmer village green and church. Rest assured you could move in straight away as it is already presented to a good standard with a lovely kitchen and shower room.

As soon as you enter, you will notice how light and bright the rooms are. The lounge has a pretty outlook over the communal gardens and countryside beyond. It is a great room for relaxing and enjoying the view or for entertaining family and friends, as there is also space for a dining table and chairs. Both of the bedrooms are of a good size and Bedroom Two has a similar view to the lounge, delightful for waking up in the morning with a cup of tea and listening to the birds. The rooms have pull cords for emergencies and there is an on-call resident warden during the day and a central contact for out of hours communication.

The apartment is only a short walk to the local shops, which include convenience store, bakery and butchers. Ringmer also has a doctors surgery and pharmacy. There are many social groups to join within the village and the village hall hosts a community coffee morning every Wednesday.

Please refer to the footnote regarding the services and appliances.

What the Owner says:

This was my mother's property and she really loved the location, always enjoying the views and access to the local shops.

The bus stop at the end of the road is really handy, taking you into Lewes or Brighton for more high street shops, restaurants or access to Lewes mainline train station.

What is also nice is that the sun starts off in the kitchen in the morning and works its way round into the lounge during the day. There are also countryside walks close by with access to the South Downs.

There are monthly residents meetings, coffee mornings and use of a shared laundry room (there is also space for a washing machine in the flat itself).
