My father lived in this cottage since 1972 and was the local historian and map maker - recognised by the villagers as being a real stalwart of the area. He loved being in such a beautiful rural location, yet only a couple of miles from Rudgwick with its local shops and medical centre. When he needed a larger town, both Horsham and Guildford where within easy reach so he never felt cut off.

Since taking over the house, I have spent a great amount of time, effort and money on creating what is now a truly up-to-date and desirable home for the next owner as a tribute to my father - I sometimes wish I could live here myself!
