Property description
Having won 'Village of the year' many times, it's easy to see why people flock to Brockham in an attempt to purchase a piece of family living. From the award winning butchers to the famous fireworks, Brockham is certainly on the map. No wonder the current owners snapped up the chance to live here almost 13 years ago and have found it ideal for family life with a great community atmosphere.
Having been extended, you can instantly see how the layout of this house is ideal for family living. Whether it's family dinners round the table in front of the fire or relaxing in the vast open plan lounge area looking out onto the garden, the downstairs living space offers it all. There is even a study off the lounge area which is ideal if you work from home. The open plan design to the kitchen area means the chef doesn't miss out when entertaining either. You can throw open the doors to the garden and really let the sunshine pour through. Upstairs won't disappoint either as there is plenty of room upstairs for a growing family. Whether you fancy a well earned soak or wake up shower, the fantastic bathroom caters for everyone with its stunning roll top bath and his n hers sinks.
Despite the village location, commuting into London is also possible from here with bus routes on the main road taking you to Reigate or Dorking. Betchworth station is also just over a mile away too allowing you to still make that early morning journey to work.
What the Owner says:
We have lived here for well over a decade and it's been an absolutely brilliant home for our family.
We had no intention when we moved here of staying as long as we have but the village is so perfect for bringing up children so it was just so easy to stay.
Since living here we have extended the house substantially so it now offers plenty of living space downstairs and extra bedrooms upstairs. We also had the bathroom re-fitted and added under-floor heating to all the tiled areas.
To make the next step on the ladder a reality we are offering the house without the stress of an onward chain to make it easier for everyone concerned.
