Tulloch Ard was the first house built in this area in 1870, and has only been sold twice previously in its long history. A small cluster of houses have sprung up around it, making it a very stable and safe community. The degree of peace and privacy that it offers is quite outstanding, and its large Secret Garden surprises newcomers.
Appearing as an unprepossessing bungalow, it has been frequently called \"The Tardis\" because it is deceptively spacious. It is a flexible; suitable for either a family or small business. It is currently configured as reception hall, sitting room/dining room and formal lounge. There are two double bedrooms currently, one study/bedroom 3, one bathroom and one shower room and a kitchen. There is also an integral double garage with remote operated door. As the site of the first successful Independent Living Project in Scotland the property has been modernised and aesthetically adapted to meet the needs of those less able.
The garden grounds are a real feature and contain three outhouses and a sunroom and a shed, all with power and light. It is well stocked with mature bedding areas and trees. There is also great potential for expansion.
Amenities in the area include bus and train links, golf course, sports facilities, garden centre, schools and shopping. Tulloch Ard is halfway between Glasgow and Edinburgh airports and has easy motorway links.
