Property description

Situated on the stunning south coast cliff tops above the famous Lamorna Cove is this stunning extended barn conversion. Looking over wild flower fields to the sea, this property truly commands uninterrupted coastal views and a quiet hamlet location. Converted i n the eighties and extended by the present vendors in 2002, this lovely property boasts a 28ft kitchen/diner, separate living room with sea views, three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Outside there are generous gardens, double garage and off road parking. A must see!

• Kemyel Lodge is situated on the coastal footpath and we have enjoyed endless walks across the fields and footpaths to Mousehole, Lamorna and beyond. The views across the coast from Kemyel and the surrounding footpaths are simply stunning. It is an in ideal spot for those who love walking and the local pubs and restaurants in Lamorna and Mousehole can be easily reached via the footpaths.
• As our family grew we have extended the house and were absolutely thrilled with the result of the kitchen/dining room. This has been a wonderful room for entertaining, cooking and just being together and we have loved the light and space this room has offered. As a family home Kemyel Lodge works really well and always feels spacious, however many people we have to stay!
• Kemyel is perfect for nature lovers. We love to watch the sun rising over the lizard peninsula which is visible from all the windows at the front of the house, as well as the foxes, badgers, owls and numerous birds in the surrounding fields. Every year we delight as the swallows and starlings return to the nearby barns to entertain us with their acrobatics and tease our cats! A short stroll across the adjacent field takes you to Kemyel Crease nature reserve and a quiet spot on the coast which is a lovely place for looking out to sea and watching the passing fishing boats gliding home in the evenings. The stillness and beauty the area is matched by the brightness of the stars. Friends have commented on the beauty of the night sky viewed from our house at Kemyel. We have loved the tranquillity and peacefulness of the setting, whilst still being able to reach all the amenities and attractions of Penzance in under 10 minutes.
