The village centre is a short walk away, swing down there for the Co-op, butcher and hairdresser, the local village hall and recreation ground are well used by the community and for bigger shopping trips Tesco is a short drive away.

Our house felt right, from the moment we first saw it, giving us everything we wanted including the horse shoe on the back door!

We extended the kitchen to make it a far more usable space and we have a choice of eating areas now. We've revamped the garden and it's a private area that we can access from either the kitchen/breakfast area or the dining area now that the patio doors are in. The other major improvement was of course the completely refitted bathroom.

There's a good sense of community in this lovely little village but the call to move closer to grandchildren has become too strong!
