Property description
The magnificent panoramic views across Whitstable and out across the estuary will make you the envy of your friends and family when you buy this detached family home. Located in an elevated spot, this house has been designed to take full advantage of the view. There is a large first floor lounge which has a set of sliding patio doors leading to a front balcony, which will prove a fabulous place to sit in the evenings and watch some of the wonderful sunsets that Whitstable is famous for, and which Turner the famous artist used to paint at Seasalter. A further set of sliding doors on the other side of the lounge with a Juliet balcony and enjoy views across Tankerton and out into the estuary off Herne Bay.
To the rear of the property, Whitstable's historic windmill overlooks the rear balcony as well as the patio and decked area.
The design of this property provides a great deal of flexibility to arrange the accommodation to suit your own needs, as the 4 bedrooms are arranged over two floors they could easily be used for alternative needs. Recently the property has been re-decorated from top to bottom so this house is ready to move straight into, and the new lucky owner will be able to put their feet up and enjoy the quality finish on offer. For those who like to put their car away at night the double garage will prove ideal, and an additional driveway and with no parking restrictions in the road extra parking is never far away.
What the Owner says:
I couldn't resist buying this house some 20 years ago, the awesome views made it an easy decision, and I particularly liked the individual nature of the property.
Living just outside the town centre for me has meant that I can easily walk into the town where I can socialise in any one of the traditional pubs, bars or restaurants without having to worry about where to park.
Getting about could not be easier, there is a main bus service to Canterbury which runs past my front door, and with the A299 and M2 being just moments away getting to Thanet, Medway Towns or London is quite simple.
