Property description
Think old fashioned English town with great community spirit, stunning walks, beach front and scenery from the door step! Sitting on the edge of the exceptional town of Ventnor watching the seasons pass, this cottage has everything you would expect and more. Park up on the large driveway which is a rarity being so close to the town and fling off the wellies and enter the warmth of this cottage. You will automatically be drawn to the lounge and dining areas where there is a great amount of space to entertain or even just cosy up in front of the telly and the open fire. There’s loads of room in the dining area where you can set the table for the more formal occasions and really enjoy spending time with your loved ones.
Head downstairs to the large kitchen area and cook up a storm or in the warmer months why not fling open the back door and enjoy the sunny rear garden. You will find it hard to drag yourself away from this garden as it is spacious and could be really pretty in the summer months if you are green fingered. On the first floor there are two fantastic sized double bedrooms and a single too, there is a family bathroom but also a shower room, so there will be no need to fight over the first shower in the morning. Overall this cottage is in a convenient location moments from the town and could make a perfect holiday home, rental or even a main residence, therefore a viewing is a must!

I think the message I need to get across is that this is a period property, that is very 'Ventnor'…..quirky and full of character and warm atmosphere, inside and out, with the beautifull Boniface Downs rising above it at the rear and sea glimpses, and love it as it is. It offers so much to the right person, who can see the potential and essentially can warm to this lovely house of the 1840's. It is not for someone who is looking for modern, minimalist style, and who is not prepared to put their own stamp on Aratrum Villa. I shall be very sad to leave it, and its oh so convenient location, having enjoyed it as a family home through many seasons.
