It was the space that this cottage had, that really attracted us to it. For a 2 bedroom house, the downstairs living area is huge! We also loved the location here, so close to beautiful countryside. We have done lots of work to our home since we moved in. We replaced the kitchen, bathroom and en-suite. We also redecorated from top to bottom. It means we have all the benefits of modern living yet still in a lovely characterful home. We love the wooden floors, beams and the feeling of character. It’s quite a rural location but still close enough to Canterbury. There’s a good local school in the village too.
