Property description
The Needles lighthouse is one of the Island's most iconic landmarks and a part of the history of the Island, guarding ships from being wrecked on the treacherous rocks around it. On offer here is a chance to glance out the window and see the lighthouse from an angle few get to admire. Summer evenings can be spent making use of the stunning outlook in the front garden and you can gather round a table and watch the sunset over The Solent.
The opportunity to own a property in this unique location does not come up often! The living space is ideal for families or as a holiday let, with a kitchen/diner for making a 'proper' breakfast before a day of exploring the coastline.
Bedroom 1 has doors opening up to the private rear garden, with the addition of a feature fireplace and high ceilings, perfect for relaxing. It can easily house the largest of beds. Bedroom is a large double, if you have children then 2, or even 3, single beds will fit easily in here. There is also a modern family bathroom for taking a relaxing bath and washing off the coloured Alum Bay sands. Furthermore, there is a store room to the rear which is ideal for locking away things like bikes.
As well as a private front and rear garden, there is a car park for use by the cottages and there is use of the Headon Hall Estate for walking, enjoying and relaxing in the private grounds with simply stunning views over both The Downs and the sea.

I first spotted one cottage and fell in love with the charm, character and location, enjoying bringing family here and wandering around the estate and down to the beach.
As time went on, I acquired three others along the row and they have been successfully let out providing a good income. Adding a few modern touches such as the facilities to have broadband, has just been the finishing touch.
With Yarmouth only a few minutes by car, it's easy to get a ferry link to the mainland or just pop out for a good meal in a local pub.
