Property description
Situated within, what is considered to be, one of the best roads in Theydon Bois is this individually designed detached residence with well presented accommodation arranged over three floors. The property features a conservatory that is used as a dining area and provides a casual atmosphere for eating whilst enjoying the garden aspect. The sitting room has direct access to the conservatory and the gas flamed coal effect fire makes this a cosy room for the winter months.
For those days when working at home is required, or for simply browsing the computer in peace and quiet, the study provides the ideal space. The four bedrooms are split over two floors with bedrooms one and two being to the first floor, together with a family bathroom and en-suite to bedroom one. To the top floor are bedrooms three and four and a cloakroom with WC and wash hand basin.
Outside the rear garden is laid to grass and there is the patio area directly off the conservatory, providing an ideal entertaining space for barbecues or simply relaxing with a glass of wine and when the unpredictable British weather threatens to ruin a barbecue you can shelter within the conservatory.
The home is about 0.5 miles from the village with a selection of shops, a Montessori and good primary school, there is also a couple of pubs and a restaurant. For the commuter there is the Central Line tube link into London and the M25 motorway, junction 26, is approximately 2 miles away and links with other major road networks within the south east.
What the Owner says:
What impressed us the most about this property was the location, it’s in one of the best roads in Theydon Bois and for us we have the ideal balance, we are far enough away from the village centre but equally accessible when we need to the local shops and tube station for getting into London.
We noticed the home on the internet and initially dismissed it as it looked small and a bit too quirky. We then thought we might as well view the property, due to being impressed by the location. As soon as we walked through the front door we knew immediately that it was for us, the accommodation was larger than we expected and likewise the garden impressed us as it was also a good size.
The area has provided us with the best of both worlds, a village atmosphere to live in with the hustle and bustle of London being only 40/45 minutes away by tube. We have really enjoyed living here, so much so that we are going to stay in Theydon Bois.
