<b><u>What I love about the apartment</u></b>

It is in a fantastic central location being only a 20 minute walk from the City or a 20 minute walk to Canary Wharf meaning its perfect for commuters or for when you want to visit the different shops, restaurants and bars that both areas have to offer.

It is a bright and welcoming flat and we have just refurbished it and has a lovely modern, yet comfortable feel (and its very neutral too).

It has 2 great sized double bedrooms and the master has an en suite with a large walk-in shower. The large second bedroom is great for when our friends or family stay over.

There's lots of storage, including loft space, again a rarity in modern flats.

It has secure underground parking.

It is opposite King Edward Memorial Park. In just a minute's walk, you have a wonderful green space, right next to the River Thames, with tennis courts and even a bowling green. Perfect for summer days strolling!

Being on the top floor, the flat has high ceilings giving it a very spacious feel and wonderful views of the Thames (when the tide is high).

The flat is very warm, even on the coldest days, it only takes 10 minutes for it to fully heat up. The heating and electric bills are very reasonable (gas and electric combined have averaged just £46 per month)

Our neighbours are great, very friendly and always willing to lend a hand if needed. We will be sad to leave.

<b><u>What's great about its location</u></b>


There are excellent transport links with 4 stations within a short walking distance (Shadwell DLR and Overground, Wapping Overground and Limehouse DLR and Overground) and a couple of bus stops right outside the door.

<b><u>What I love about the area</u></b>

London's oldest riverside tavern, The Prospect of Whitby, is a 2 minute walk away, and it is lovely establishment, right on the river and a great place to be a local.

There are a number of fantastic restaurants and pubs in Wapping and Limehouse which are in easy walking distance, including the much lauded Gordon Ramsay's The Narrow, the well-known Il Bordello as well and the award winning pub/restaurant The grapes.

There are plenty of other restaurants as well, including a great Italian, a deli (perfect for a coffee or a glass of rose on a summers day), Pizza Express and a Chinese. At the other end of the spectrum, there are plenty of good value local curry takeaways and kebab shops on Commercial Road when you want an easy takeaway on the way home from work.

There is a super Waitrose within 15 minutes walk, and there are also a number of larger 24 hour supermarkets including a Tescos, Sainsburys and Asda, all within a 10-15 minute drive.

We have a really useful corner shop a couple of minutes walk that is open during the day and Wapping Supermarket, which is a well-stocked shop and off-licence a 10 minutes walk away that is open late, handy for the essentials that you always forget at the supermarket!
