Property description
Beautiful and charming. These are both words that can easily be used to describe this lovely period home. The original part of this intriguing home dates back to the 1840's but it was then extended in 1982 to give you the house that you find here today.
There is a fabulous mix of period charm and modern fittings, each room almost has its own unique personality and it definitely needs to be viewed to appreciate all it has to offer. The lounge and dining areas are ideal for enjoying nights in watching TV as well as having meals together that was prepared in the beautiful kitchen.
Upstairs the rooms are simply charming and the views over the village are lovely and touches like the port hole window bring this home to life.
Outside there is an off road parking space which is a real premium in this area but when you do have guests to visit there is also extra parking in the car park up the brow of the hill.
The rear garden is well established and ideal for sitting out to enjoy the sun. There is even a lovely summer house which has power and light as well as being insulated to keep it all warm. You will love spending your time here reading a book in quiet and peaceful surroundings.
Temple Ewell is a lovely village to live in where residents can choose to participate in community events or enjoy the quiet life.
What the Owner says:
As soon as I saw this house I fell in love with how it looked and the views. Since owning the house I have done so much inside including installing a new kitchen and bathroom, double glazing and new boiler. I have also re-decorated everywhere.
I love living in the village as its so quiet and all my neighbours are all lovely. There is a real community feel and I can easily walk to the church and around the village or to nearby Kearsney Abbey from here.
It is also ideal for commuting as there are so many road and bus links to Dover and Canterbury close by as well as nearby Kearsney station.
