Property description

Bungalows of this type on Meadow Road are really popular with all sorts of buyers. First time buyer, families and those looking to retire. They offer good value for money, with nice sized accommodation and an excellent sized garden. This bungalow has a very welcoming feel and it’s not hard to imagine cosying up in the lounge in the evening to watch TV. The shower room is really lovely and we are sure you will enjoy getting ready in here in the morning.

The garden is another wow factor. If you have green fingers then you will love it! You will be able to spend many a happy hour pottering around out here. There could even be potential to extend subject to the necessary planning being obtainable.

Sturry is a very popular area because it enjoys good proximity to the City centre of Canterbury, being approximately 3.9 miles away. The train station in Sturry is only approx 0.4 miles away. The village centre of Sturry has facilities such as supermarket and chemist.

There are beautiful countryside walks and nice pubs in nearby Fordwich, which is only 1.1. miles and Westbere which is only 1 mile.

What the Owner says:

I chose this bungalow because I really like Sturry and wanted this area. It’s very quiet around here and I do enjoy the peace and quiet. The other thing that attracted me was the excellent condition of this place. It was a really good home to just move straight into. The garden was a real surprise when I first looked around – it’s really big! Great for someone to let the kids or grandkids run around. Some people might think there’s some potential here to extend too, if they can get the planning from the council. Since living here, the main improvement I have made is the addition of block paving out the front. The area here is very central for everything, shops, the school and the station.
