We love this house and chose it because we like the character and period features. We particularly loved the open fireplaces. There’s also a nice big kitchen and big garden too. In the last 7 years we have made lots of improvements to our home to include replacing the windows, the kitchen, adding decking in the garden and adding the summer house. Apart from the house itself, we also really love the location. My wife does not drive but that’s fine because it's so easy to get everywhere from here. There are buses to Herne Bay, Margate and Canterbury from here. You can get on the train from Sturry station into Canterbury too. There’s a footpath close to our house which leads to the Westbere lakes and beautiful countryside.
