Rye Lane is even closer for Peckham Plex cinema (films for under a fiver, and daytime parent and baby screenings too) and The Bussey Building (Pilates classes, plays and club nights). Beautiful Nunhead Cemetery (one of the “Magnificent Seven” London cemeteries established in the 19th century) is very close for weekend wanders, as is the huge and lovely Peckham Rye Park and Common.
