Property description
The ‘wow’ factor starts from the minute you step into the lounge. This room is truly amazing; it has a cosy cottage feel with its exposed Inglenook fireplace and then a contemporary twist with the pitched roof of the extension.
If you enjoy entertaining I can assure you the guests will love having dinner with you here, as whilst you sit around the table you can put a few logs on the log burner, giving you the perfect ambience to relax.
If you want the ideal place to sit on a warm summer’s day, then you will definitely be heading for the enormous conservatory. The current owners have the perfect set up here; in the winter months they use the cosy lounge and in the summer months they spend all their time in the conservatory, as it doubles up as a lounge, dining room and office.
This home has an extra bonus because the current layout can give you the flexibility to create an annex area, as there is a large double bedroom and a shower room on the ground floor. Upstairs things just get better, as all three bedrooms enjoy amazing views over open farmland.
Keen gardeners are going to love the gardens here, as all the hard work has already been done; the gardens have been landscaped and there is also a Koi carp pond. As the gardens benefit from the sun, they are going to be great for BBQs during the summer months.
What the Owner says:
It was the fantastic location that sold this house to us. We had always dreamt of having a home that backs onto farmland and being within walking distance of a village pub, and our home has both of these. We can also be on the M20 in about 5 minutes, Hythe in about 15 minutes and Canterbury in about 25 minutes.
A few years ago we had the option to either sell and move on, or to extend. We struggled to find somewhere that beat this location, so we decided to stay put and extend. The extension gave us an additional bedroom and doubled the size of our lounge, and we also added a 29’10 conservatory to the back of the house.
