Property description

This lovely home will be ideal for anyone looking for a first home, but would also suit an investor or downsizer as it is extremely well positioned for the village centre and has some lovely features.

The lounge is light and airy which is accentuated by the picture window to the front and there is a lovely feature electric fireplace, which gives this room a lovely cottage feel. There is further storage space which has been cleverly thought through. The kitchen/diner is ideal and the owner had the units made to go right to the ceiling which gives a lot more storage. This room is ideal for when you are entertaining guests as there is room for a dining table and now that the owners have just added a brand new conservatory, it gives extra space to relax.

On the first floor there are two well balanced bedrooms, which both have built in wardrobe space and bedroom two has a quirky fold up bed, which makes it easy to transform this bedroom into a study if required.

The rear garden is lovely with a beautiful decked area, which will be ideal for those gatherings around the barbecue and this leads onto a decent lawned area, with two sheds to store your garden equipment. The allocated parking space is tucked away from the road and is at the end of the terrace so you wont have to walk too far with the shopping.

What the Owner says:

We were living in Surrey and wanted to move to Sussex as we had always liked that part of the world. We looked at three houses, 2 in Horsham and one in Southwater and we fell head over heals with the house in Southwater and the village itself. It was 1986 and the village was a lot smaller and had a very rural and rustic feel to it.

The property felt very homely and we love the garden and the fact it backs onto a wooded copse. We did not waste any time in securing it and have been very happy here, but we have decided to move to Yorkshire but will be very sad to leave.
