I thought this was an ideal first buy for me because it was detached, in a nice quiet area with its own garage, off road parking and a decent size garden. Although the property needed an awful lot of work, I have meticulously bought it up to a standard that I am happy with. Literally everything from top to bottom has been re-done, including installing a new kitchen and bathroom as well as redecorating throughout and putting in new carpet.
I have absolutely loved living here. The house feels open and welcoming as well as homely. The excellent transport links into London are really convenient for my work. I am sad to sell but my relationship means a move to Southsea is needed.
