ALL IN THE DETAIL Choosing a retirement property should not just be about how quiet and peaceful it will be - although a bit of peace and quiet is always welcome! Bartholemew Court has a vibrant community of fellow residents who are sure to make you welcome and the on site manager is just a call away for assistance. The minimum age for residents is 60 years young! 

INNER PERSPECTIVE Set on the ground floor, there are no lifts or stairs to navigate, but the property is nice and secure. The fitted kitchen is just off the lounge and includes some appliances, the two bedrooms are sensibly proportioned with fitted wardrobes to the larger of the two and the bathroom has been updated with a large walk in shower. 

LOCALLY SPEAKING Bartholemew Court is under half a mile from the town centre and even closer still to the brand new Waitrose. There is temporary parking at the development for your visitors, but they will have to ask first! If you are thinking of jetting off round the world both Heathrow and Gatwick are within easy reach via the M25 which is only a few miles away. You can even be on the south coast of England in just over an hour (if the traffic is good). 

EXTRA FACILITIES There is a service charge of about £285 per month which covers all the things that you would expect in such a nice retirement complex, including having an on-site residential manager (who is lovely by the way), general maintenance of both the buildings and the grounds, cleaning of the common parts and windows. There is a super shared lounge/ reception with its own kitchenette and toilet facilities.
