Property description
How often do you find a detached house so close to the town centre, yet in a spot which is so quiet you could almost hear a pin drop at night? ‘Not very often’ will probably be your answer to this question, however, they do exist and we cannot wait to show you all that this home has to offer.
This house is certainly a special one as it is tucked away from the usual streets and roads and is accessed via a footpath. Even with your satnav it is not easily found, however just follow the directions on the back of this brochure and it will lead you straight to the front door.
You will be surprised when you arrive and we can almost guarantee that you would have never have known that this house even existed in Shanklin. Once you step inside the door you will be delighted as it’s not quite what you would expect, the layout is not traditional by any means and it really is ‘one of a kind’. It is blessed with spacious rooms and has its own private courtyard at the rear which is just enough to relax in and have a few friends around to enjoy barbeques when the sun finally comes back out to play. As well as your standard rooms the property also benefits from not one but two bathrooms, one of which is absolutely stunning.
Overall, this property is definitely a one off and you must come and see this unique detached home in its tucked away location.
What the Owner says:
I have spent twenty very happy years here and I still remember the moment I viewed this property. When I entered the front door I instantly got a warm and homely feel, and I just loved the beautiful staircase. From that moment on it just got better and I have not looked back. Twenty years of laughter, happiness and fabulous family memories have been shared, however now that the children have left us to move on with their lives the house has outgrown us and we feel it would be far more suited to a family so that they can enjoy everything that we have had; the schools being nearby and the fact the town and the transport links are virtually on our doorstep. We will not be leaving Shanklin as it does have so much to offer.
