“We bought this house new in 2001 and it has always been a wonderful family home. However, as our circumstances have changed we are looking for something a little smaller but would love to be able to stay in Chantry Park as it is such a friendly place.
Being at the end of a cul de sac, the surroundings are very secure. It provides a real community ambience, where children can play safely. We even have the Salvation Army carol singers visit Chantry park at Christmas time and residents organize a family summer barbeque .
There is also a village shop, a post office, two pubs and a top class primary school in nearby St Nicholas at Wade. The school has an Outstanding Ofsted report and our boys have done very well there. For older children it is only a minute’s walk to catch the bus to Canterbury, Sandwich and Ramsgate for excellent secondary schools.
For anyone who enjoys village life, there are wonderful places to go for bracing walks around the adjacent fields and an excellent pub where you can enjoy a drink or a delicious meal. At the same time we are very near the Thanet Way for travel to London.”
