Property description
Come and take a look at this stunning Grade II listed building in the heart of Rotherfield village centre. Even from the pictures you know there is something special on offer and it certainly doesn’t disappoint when you walk through the front door.
The lounge is amazing with wooden beams everywhere and one of the most gorgeous fireplaces you will see. With the property dating back to approximately 1450, this cottage has got some features that will take your breath away. Imagine having a lazy Sunday afternoon in front of that roaring fire with the family!
The garden is a fantastic size and from the upper floors of the house, you have some lovely views over the picturesque Sussex Countryside. If you wanted more than this then don’t worry, as you are positioned within a stone’s throw of some beautiful country walks.
Positioned over three floors, the accommodation is incredibly flexible. The downstairs in general flows very well including a separate dining room and a study area. You could even have a separate floor to the children giving you your own space to enjoy.
A truly wonderful house in a just as impressive location is a perfect overview for this property. Don’t just take our word for it though
.come and take a look yourself!
What the Owner says:
When I first came to the property, I was looking to get out to the countryside and acquire a character home which you just didn’t get from where I was before. I was bowled over with this house the first time I saw it and I hope that will be the case for the next owner.
The house itself is great but the location was also a big deal for me. Being so close to the village with the local shops and amenities certainly makes a big difference.
The community here is simply one in a million and I will miss it a huge amount. The next owner of this house will get a great property as well as be a part of a fantastic village.
