Property description
If you are looking for a home for life to raise your family then come and take a look at this lovely house.
If you enjoy the outdoors then you will enjoy tending the garden with its various fruit trees and mature shrubs. Why not sit outside in the evenings on the patio, with a glass of wine in hand, and enjoy the peace and quiet.
As the house is on a substantial corner plot there is always the possibility of extending to the side - subject to obtaining the necessary consents, as the neighbours have done. In recent years the owners have had a complete central heating system installed and the electrics have been re-wired at some point.
If you want to house the car or need space for storage or a workshop, having the garage is always a good point and, as you have off road parking to the front, you won't need to worry about getting the car off the road. There are good bus routes nearby that can take you to Dover or Canterbury and even Tesco. By car you can be on both the A2 and A20 within a few minutes making a commute to work an easy prospect. Having the ferry port so close or even the Channel Tunnel, a trip to the continent, should be nice and easy.
Please refer to the footnote regarding the services and appliances. What the Owner says:
My parents bought this house in 1959 from a local film maker and it has been in the family ever since. I spent my childhood here and have fond memories of our family home. Although anyone may want to come in and look to up-date the house it has all the character of a 1930's home and major works have already been done. My parents had the house double glazed and also had the guttering and fascias replaced with UPVC fittings. They also had the loft and cavity walls insulated.
It has always been a lovely quiet area and yet it is so easy to walk to the local recreation ground, River school, shops and even to Kearsney Abbey and train station.
