VENDORS COMMENTS "The fantastic outlook over the garden and fields was what made us fall in love with Mill House!

From the roadside, the property is very deceiving - one of its attractions for us was that it was tucked away, providing us with peace and privacy. We have lived here for 5 years, during which time, bit by bit, we have transformed Mill House into a light, roomy and comfortable home. The spacious lounge, with its efficient wood-burner and French windows, means we can be warm and cosy, whilst also enjoying stunning views of the changing seasons and varied bird life that visits our garden.

We love the quiet, tranquil feel here, whilst also being just a few minutes walk from bustling Ashburton, with its incredible selection of independent shops. Walking into town on a Saturday morning to buy a freshly baked loaf from 'Ella's' is a real treat!

Our favourite part of the house has to be the garden - it is a magical, serene spot, and enjoys sunshine for much of the day. We have raised beds and growing areas for vegetables, as well as herbaceous beds, with mature shrubs. It's where we spend most of the summer months; nothing beats sitting under the cherry tree with a glass of wine, listening to the gentle trickling of the stream, and watching the sun gradually set over Dartmoor."

Mill House is in a quiet spot, with friendly neighbours and is located perfectly for couples and families alike. It facilitates a lifestyle we will certainly find difficult to replicate. We are moving to Scotland to pursue a slightly crazy adventure, and if we could lift up Mill House and take it with us, we would!
