I wanted somewhere not too big and not too small, somewhere private and out of the way. Everything I had looked at in the price range was either too small or an old terrace property, neither any good for me as I didn't want ongoing maintenance.
As soon as I saw the front room and conservatory I had to have it, it ticked all the boxes and more. The garden was so quiet and tranquil with lovely views behind, it was by far the best one I had seen.
