We moved here from Dorset about two and a half years ago and instantly fell for our lovely apartment. It was in need of complete refurbishment when we saw it and we've thoroughly enjoyed modernising and improving the property.
Although the flat has a sunny aspect and benefits from heat rising from the apartment below, we wanted to improve the energy efficiency. With this in mind, we've insulated and lined walls and ceilings.
We've also replaced the flooring and internal doors, added a new kitchen, redecorated throughout and are now in the process of decking the balcony, from which we often feed the swans and ducks.
