Weve lived here for 6 years and think that the location is superb but a change of career means that sadly we must move on. The house is on a quiet, residential road with great neighbours and has been fully refurbished but its not all painted magnolia!
Its walking distance to 4 stations (zone 3) so travel into London is quick and simple. Many buses leave from the large Sainsburys at Bell Green which is only 5 minutes walk away. Sydenham high street is only a 10 minute walk. On the way to the high street you pass Mayow park, which is fabulous for the children and has a tennis court, a football field and a new childrens playground.
Our house is warm, bright and cozy, and the gardens not overlooked from the back (there are allotments behind). In the early evening sun streams into the garden and through the french doors into the kitchen and we've enjoyed many evenings relaxing with a glass of nice wine.
