Location
Castlehaven is part of Reeth Bay, which incorporates a sweeping sandy beach, small harbour and a multitude of rocky outcrops, which enjoy stunning views across the English Channel, quite simply a magical place.
The bay has been used as a safe harbour for visiting seafarers and traders for more than 2000 years, from the time of the Phoenicians right up to the pirates and smugglers of the 19th century, whose principal plunder was the cargos of lace and brandy.
Today things are not quote so hectic and the only disruption is the sound of sails in the wind or chatter of the local fishermen landing their catch.

In July 2011 Tatler Magazine described it as \"Completely sweet. There are only five vintage caravans here, with views over St Catherine’s Lighthouse. Each sleeps four and all are immaculately spruced in driftwood sea-salty fashion. They are very romantic in a Beryl Cook picnic-in-the-driving-rain kind of way.\"
