We really love the fact that our home is in the countryside yet just under a mile from Minster and not far from the various sandy beaches that Thanet is so famous for. Living in a big, beautiful house that is full of character provides us with comfort and security. It is also very peaceful and quiet. However, we intend to work full time in Asia so feel it is time to sell our home. Over the past four years since we have been living in the house full time we have thoroughly enjoyed refurbishing it to a high standard and feel that it is ready for a new family to move straight into. We have not only installed a new kitchen and bathrooms but have ensured that all the old wiring and pipe work has been removed and many of the walls have been re-plastered.
Minster is a truly delightful Kentish village. Everyone is very welcoming and friendly and it offers everything you need for day to day living. It includes a number of pubs and a variety of restaurants from haute cuisine to McDonalds, fish and chips, Indian and Chinese. There is a Londis supermarket as well as a butcher, baker and greengrocer, hairdressers and a beauty salon, post office, newsagent, library and individual shops. There is an excellent primary school in the village and another in Monkton, a modern doctor’s surgery, clinic, pharmacy, private dental practice, as well as a veterinary surgery and grooming parlour.
