Location | The village of Mawgan Porth is set around its stunning sandy beach at the seawards end of the Vale of Lanherne. The beach is an absolute gem and often overlooked by those visiting the more famous north coast beaches. The broad expanse of soft sand giving way to the sea makes it perfect for young families and keen surfers alike. The valley that sweeps away from the beach is exceptionally beautiful with the Menalhyl River running straight through the middle between the rolling hillsides. The village has a host of local shops including a cafe, surf shop, supermarket and deli as well as a farm shop further along the valley.
