Before finding this home we viewed a hell of a lot of houses. We know we wanted Ashford because we wanted to take advantage of the High-speed rail link. This one stood out because of the two separate living areas and it was also a good price. Although we liked having the space downstairs we immediately decided to open out the dining room which has really transformed the house, it’s a great family space! We’ve also updated the family bathroom and converted the back of the garage which works really well. Although we’ve loved living here for the last 10 years we feel the time is right for us to move out to the country and with both girls getting older we no longer need a house this size.
