The 137 nearby will whisk you to Sloane Square and Knightsbridge and there are any amount of buses to bring you to the tube in 4 minutes. The Victoria Line is known for being the fastest and because it’s the last stop you always get a seat! Brixton's all a buzz with the recently developed Windrush Square offering a marvellous place to sit, chat and drink coffee. This is before we mention the ocean of funky bars, cafes and restaurants on offer. The Brixton Village covered market will keep you dining all year round. The Ritzy cinema will keep any audience happy with its thoughtful mix of art-house and mainstream titles and 'The White Horse' really rocks out on the weekend - and you've got to check out their chicken, avocado and bacon burger. Clapham and the ever popular Abbeville Village are a 15-20 minute stroll in the other direction. It'll take you the first three years to sample all the cuisine there (Carmen tapas is our fave!) and you can walk it off on Clapham Common. Khamsa along Acre Lane does fab Algerian food - it's getting great reviews. Even closer is Negril on Brixton Hill - we're addicted to their salt fish fritters. Clapham High Street will keep you busy whatever the weather. All in all, a real winner!
