Two deep storage areas with wooden doors lie to the side and in front of the garage. Further steps lead up to a shed and compost area from which a narrow grass path runs along the rear of the property. Below is a further concrete path running along the back of the cottage to the far end where steps descend to meet the path to the side and out to the front.
Beyond the front wall is a pretty grass verge running the length of the garden which also forms part of the grounds. The property is on mains electricity and has a private water supply from the hills behind. Although not essential - this is fed through a newly installed sterilisation system. Drainage is via a septic tank on land opposite the cottage. The property has access to satellite and free view television and broadband. It also has the additional advantage of being located within walking distance of the ferry, minimising the need for transport on the island.
