Property description

Enjoying a hillside position on Cliff Road means that this home has amazing views out to sea, so if you are in the lounge, bedroom 1 or bedroom 2/office the outlook is simply mesmerising. You can imagine what it would be like to wake up here, opening the curtains to a scene that you would normally associate with being on holiday.

The hub of this home is the large lounge/diner, which is divided into two separate areas by a beautiful exposed brick fireplace. So whether you are relaxing in the lounge area or sitting around the dining room table with friends and family, you will always be able to feel the warmth from the fire.

If the stunning views haven’t woken you up then hopefully taking a shower in one of the lovely bathrooms will wash the cobwebs away. The downstairs bathroom has a nice little addition as it has jack and jill doors, enabling it to be used as an en-suite for bedroom 3.

Now for the beautiful gardens, the current owners have designed them with low maintenance in mind, without stripping away the character of the garden. This house has a meandering brook that runs through the garden; you can just picture sitting here on a warm day, admiring the vista, with the gentle sound of trickling water in the background. Romantics are also going to love this garden as there is a small pathway that winds through the vegetation and if they look carefully they should be able to see little fairies hidden in the trees.

What the Owner says:

Since moving into our home we have done a great deal of work to it. We started by renewing the conservatory on the side of the house and when we designed it we incorporated a large glazed panel which comes all the way down to the floor, so that we could watch the birds bathing in the brook. We then re-fitted both the bathroom and the en-suite shower room, adding a touch of class in the en-suite by installing Karndean flooring. We also landscaped the garden.

We discovered an air raid shelter in the garden which has been great for storing our wine, and we even have power and light in there.
