Owners Comments
Sadly I must leave my lovely home Rossmore Lodge, due to a change of personal circumstances, but I feel it has been a privilege to have lived in such a delightful and tranquil area of rural Dorset. The sunny garden and the wildlife have been a particular pleasure with a wide variety of birdlife. This summer 2 broods of Great Spotted woodpeckers have fledged in the garden and there is a resident population of owls hooting the night away. Access to the countryside via local bridleways and permissive paths is excellent and the adjacent Wareham Forest is great for mountain biking, horse riding etc. Although the house gives the impression of a remote, rural idyll, in fact Wareham, Wool and Bere Regis, with all their amenities are all close by and the Dorset Golf and Country Club just up the road, has become my 'local' with good quality food and drink, regular special events and of course, golf, bowls and a gym, for those wishing to keep fit and active. I hope that the new owners will be as enthusiastic about the property and location as I have been.
