From our office in Bridge of Weir turn right onto the Main Street and turning right at the traffic lights onto Houston Road. Continue along and turn left passing Gryffe High School on the right hand side. Continue to the roundabout and turn left into the Main Street. Proceed through the village centre leaving Houston on the B789 Barochan Road and continue for 2.3 miles. There is a signpost for Meilklefield Cottage on the left, turn up the tarmac lane where the cottage can be found 50 metres on the left.
