My parents used to love to spend time in their peaceful rear garden. Being south facing they used to enjoy plenty of sunshine and with no other properties overlooking them they had all the privacy they wanted. It’s a lovely size too, in their younger days they used to love to tend to the flower and shrub borders and the extensive lawn, keeping them both fit and active. But later on when the garden was becoming a little too much they hard landscaped part of it. They had a pond built surrounded by a beautiful rockery and shingle beds that needs minimal maintenance, so with only a smaller lawn to worry about they had a lot more time to sit back and take it easy .
