We have been in this home now for 43 years. Originally I worked in the pit and rented the property. When it came available we jumped at the chance to buy it. I am originally from the village and knew a lot of people that lived there, so the location was ideal. It has been a great family home for all these years. It has seen children and well as grandchildren come and go. As time has gone on we have made several decorational changes to the home. More recently the garden has been made low maintenance. The home is far too big for us now and have already reserved a property we are keen on.
