Our current home owners have lived here since 1987 and although it is defined as a chalet style house, it feels more like a cottage. Stylish throughout, and the front garden is impressive.

The rear garden gave a feel of being in Alice in Wonderland. It is certainly one of those properties that won't suit all, but if unique is what you are seeking, then this is something to come and see.

The stairs to the first floor are slightly on the steep side, and they lead to the bedrooms , where you do have a sea glimpse from the master, and there is a cloakroom servicing them both. The main bathroom itself is downstairs. The accommodation is extremely comfortable, but anybody with 'green fingers' will be sold on the garden, especially the front one. Parking is in abundance, and you could comfortably place a caravan, or even a small boat, mostly out of sight of prying eyes.

The property itself lies at the Sailing Club end of Sandy Point Road and is also within comfortable walking distance of Hayling Beach.

Local shops are close by in Creek Road and the main parade of shops at Mengham are probably no more than a mile and a half away. The bus stop is also in close proximity and buses run every fifteen minutes to Havant, and beyond.

To be honest, at the time one of the most attractive things about the property was the price! The location also had a key factor in our purchase. We have changed a lot of things over the years but the fireplace that we put in, which is now one of the main features, was built with Hayling Island bricks!

The garden was also a big plus for us, but unfortunately is now becoming a little too much for us to keep, so we are now looking for something a lot smaller.

For those who like walking this is an ideal spot for lovely coastal walks. We are also spoilt with the Hayling Sailing Club, close by, and Hayling Golf club, also within reasonable distance.
