Property description
Originally built in 1910, the current owners have masterfully extended the property, almost doubling it in size and it still has potential to extend it further over the side to provide additional bedrooms.
The pretty front is impressive and once you step inside, the space it offers is hard to believe. The downstairs flows from the lounge through to the conservatory, then step out into the extensive rear garden for a summer BBQ or back into the L-shaped kitchen/diner for a family get together.
The presentation is extremely good throughout and makes this a move in and enjoy home. Situated towards the southwest side of the Island, it is within easy distance of both the shops at Mengham and those in west town. Ideal for schools, banks and within a walk of Hayling Beach and Haylings very popular golf course is a short drive away..
This really is a house for all seasons as the warm, cosy
and attractive interior is ideal to cuddle up in on a winters day, yet the well enclosed, illuminated, attractive garden is a great place to eat Al Fresco or just laze in the sun.
We are confident that once seen this will attract early interest, so if curiosity is getting the better of you, book to view it sooner rather than later.
What the Owner says:
When we first saw the property it was considerably smaller, but we could see its potential and we loved the garden. We converted the garage and added the rear extension, almost doubling the size of the accommodation but there is still potential to do more.
The garden is virtually made of two halves and is very secluded, with a large patio area and walk through to a soft lawn and bordered area.
The overall close proximity to the shops and general amenities, as well as the beach itself all made for an easy decision at the time and because they are all so close the car can stay at home when we are at home, the quiet location is just blissful and with lovely neighbours too we will be sad to leave.
