The village has its place in maritime history and there is now a really appealing mix of older style buildings and modern flats/houses. There are some excellent amenities here including a 24 hour Asda superstore, a mainline railway station, a superb modern fast track bus service and two welcoming riverside pubs.
This property is part of a modern complex of flats and apartments which is situated just as you enter the village itself. There are a few different varieties of apartments found here, but this one is quite different from the rest due to its superb and unusual layout. The apartment is on the first floor and it benefits from having a space in the secure underground parking area beneath the building.
Inside it feels spacious and it has an extra large hallway which provides additional living space which can be used as a study or perhaps for a table and chairs. Both bedrooms are a good size and it has lovely open plan living room/kitchen area and its own private balcony.
It is quite different from the other flats found here and this makes it feel special by comparison. The location is second to none with amenities such as Bluewater, Ebbsfleet International and the motorways all being just moments away. You can also take a stroll along the riverside and go for walks or exercise in many of the open spaces found locally.

This apartment was brand new when I purchased it approximately 4 years ago. I chose this particular one even though it was more expensive than some of the other plots for sale at the time. The reasons for this were simple. It has a completely different layout which feels far roomier and, in my opinion, more appealing in comparison to the other flats here. I like the larger open plan kitchen and the fact that it has its own private balcony.
The location was a major factor in my decision to buy here too. It is ideal for the station and it is great being so close to Bluewater and for access to the motorways.
