Within the village, there is a bus station, primary school, secondary school at nearby Threshfield, and an excellent range of everyday and specialist shops, as well as a choice of eating establishments and hostelries. The Town Hall has a busy programme of events, supplemented in summer by the acclaimed Grassington Festival and in winter by the Dickensian weekend.
