We have immensely enjoyed living at this property, which we have owned as a second home since 2005. It was definitely love at first sight when we first viewed it despite the fact that it was in need of a lot of TLC back then. We set about restoring the cottage in early 2006 and it is now a perfect combination of old world charm and modern comforts.

The views across the valley to St Catherine’s Down and The Hoy are just amazing, and to relax in the garden and listen to the sheep in the fields and the birds singing is an experience we shall truly miss. We’ve also really enjoyed walking up onto the downs behind the cottage, from where virtually the whole outline of the Island is visible, or just strolling along the lane to Godshill Church or to the wonderful Taverners pub/restaurant in the village.
