Property description
Woodland’ by name and by nature! This property really is special, set as it is in the heart of beautiful protected woodland. There is so much here to explore, both on the inside and outside of this rural property.
With multi functional living on offer this property could suit a whole range of buyers and their friends and family alike. There are parts of the property that could be ‘annexed’ off and our favourite, the 2 double bedrooms with their own Jack & Jill bathroom, the perfect option for when guests come to stay.
Outside is a whole other world with an easy to maintain private garden, life couldn’t be simpler. The current owners use the woodlands behind like you their own garden complete with cycle tracks, rope swing & camp out area for the children in the summer months - you can rest easy in front of the log burner knowing they are safe & sound.
Garden wise there is an alternative, why don’t you enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine in the fenced off ‘adult’ garden at the front of the property, which is still completely private and peaceful.
If all this isn’t enough, a short hop across the lane rests another gem, a plot of land with an existing outbuilding (potential this could be replaced subject to the necessary consents). The possibilities here are endless, whether you want to keep a few animals or have your own workshop? Lot’s to keep you occupied whatever you decide!
We have fallen in love with this house, will you?
What the Owner says:
We were drawn to this semi rural setting, seeking a traditional environment for our then young children to play and grow. Offering the freedom we experienced as children growing up, playing in woodland building camps, having sleep outs and coming home for tea, with the added safety of being literally right on the door step.
We adore the delightful changing view of the woodland, white with the anemone at the start of spring followed by the burst of blue and enchanting scent of the bluebells. The open plan kitchen/diner offers a traditional family hub, bringing everyone together at the end of the day. The large rooms offer children plenty of their own space to play. A truly traditional family home.
