Loggerheads is a small village in the north of Staffordshire, close to the boundaries of neighbouring Shropshire and Cheshire, situated on the A53 between Market Drayton and Newcastle-under-Lyme, making it an easy place from which to commute either by using the motorway network (junction 15 of the M6 is a short distance away) or by train from the mainline railway stations in the country town of Stafford or Stoke, both of which offer regular intercity services to London, Birmingham or Manchester.
Loggerheads enjoys some of the finest countryside on offer in Staffordshire, there are several large woods within walking distance, The Burntwood which adjoins Loggerheads, or slightly further to the 1000 acres of woodland at Bishops Wood both of which have miles upon miles of footpaths and bridleways with which to explore the surrounding areas.
Loggerheads is served by a well regarded primary school and has a defined centre to the village with shops including a small supermarket, butchers, Post Office and chemist. An indication of it's rural aspect is that there are several local farm shops within a few miles, offering the chance to enjoy a variety local produce.
